Jane graduated from the NSW Conservatorium of Music in 1987 with a Bachelor of Music Degree. In 1989 she finished a Graduate Diploma of Arts in Music at the Victorian College of the Arts with a HECS scholarship and, in 2009 she completed a Master of Teaching Degree at Sydney University.
Jane has more than 30 years experience teaching privately and is an AMEB woodwind examiner. Jane's experience is international and includes teaching at schools in Sydney, Melbourne and England including MLC, Trinity Grammar, SCEGGS and St. Catherine’s. She currently tutors the Oboe at The Scots College, St. Patricks College, Kambala and at her private studio in Sydney.
As a performer Jane has worked with many orchestras including the State Orchestra of Victoria, the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, in music theatre and with a variety of chamber music ensembles.

Martin grew up in Melbourne and studied music at The Victorian College of the Arts with Jeffrey Crellin. Following his graduation in 1988, Martin took lessons with the English oboist, Anthony Camden, and soon after he went to Rotterdam, to complete his studies with Emanuel Abbuhl.
Martin gained his early orchestral experience in Australia and moved to New Zealand in 1995 to take the job of Principal Oboe in the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, a position he held for thirteen years. During that time he regularly appeared as a soloist in New Zealand with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, Auckland Chamber Orchestra and the Dunedin Sinfonia.
In 2008, Martin moved to the position of Principal Cor Anglais in the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra. He appears from time to time with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra as a guest on cor anglais and oboe.
